In any case, if there was an error in the download directory location, the daemon should still list downloads and then say "No data found" for each of the items - this is what it has done in the past when the daemon ran without the shares being mounted. It should be /home/pi/nas/public/Downloads. This results in it trying to download to /home/pi/Downloads, which isn't correct. Restarting the daemon still doesn't make it pick up the right settings. I stopped the domain, checked the settings.json again - it is correct (as it has been for months). I'm quite lost and I don't know where to start troubleshooting from. Running transmission-remote -list just hangs with no output. Running transmission-daemon -log-error or info or debug gives no output. This isn't true, because I've been using that directory for months and I've checked and the share is indeed mounted and working fine. The transmission-daemon process is running, i can start/stop/restart the daemon, but when i try to run transmission-cli -info, it says "Download directory does not exist!". I've tried restarting the daemon, the Pi itself and updating etc., but nothing seems to be working. Just since this morning, the daemon cannot be connected to with any of those remote apps. I had set it up to download directly a mounted NAS folder.

For several months, I've been running Raspbian (on a Pi Model B) with Transmission installed, mostly controlling it with Transmission Remote GUI on Windows and Mac and a bunch of Android apps like Torrnado.
